Dear Shoiab,

Yes, there is lateral entry in IITs but you will be eligible to take admission in 1st year of engineering.Total course is for 4 years.

Yes, you can apply for IIT Bombay but you have to take admission in 1st year of engineering.There is no lateral entry system.Total course is for 4 complete years.
