Eligibility for B.tech Lateral Entry any stream is to get pass with  Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.  Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same. Admission in Lateral Entry are possible.

Lateral entry means the admission will be directly in the 2 year of the course program you have chosen. You do not have to take admission in 1 year you will be directed to 2 year of any undergraduate program. Basically, for admission in lateral entry , some criteria must be fulfilled by the candidate.
