As of February 2025, admission to undergraduate programs at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is based on the following criteria:
Bachelor of Science (Research):
Bachelor of Technology (Mathematics and Computing):
Therefore, JEE Main scores are not considered for admission to IISc's undergraduate programs in 2025.

As of now, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has updated its admission criteria for undergraduate programs. For the academic year 2025-26, admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program is based solely on ranks obtained in the JEE Advanced examination. Similarly, the Bachelor of Science (Research) program considers scores from JEE Advanced and the IISER Admission Test (IAT)
Therefore, JEE Main scores are no longer accepted for admission to IISc's undergraduate programs. Prospective students should plan to take the JEE Advanced or IAT exams to be eligible for admission.
