If Kerala happens to be your home state,then you should get a civil engineering branch pretty easily in not Calicut as the cutoff here last year for this respective branch was boys-37950 and girls-37467. If it's not the home state then the chances may be a bit slim as per the past cutoff which was boys-22930 and girls-26434. The cutoffs though changes each year and depends upon a no. Of factors ranging from exam difficulty, number of aspirants, candidates applying for counselling etc. So have faith and I guess you would get a good college for your rank.
