Certainly, you can quit the pharmacy college and join any college or any course according to your interest .  Clearing JEE is not an easy task for students, If you have cleared this entrance exam than surly you should quit pharmacy . Because most of students of IIT can easily get placement in most refuted companies .If you got IIT then that will be much better for your future prospective even you got much more better salary package after course completion.

And there is not any boundation for students to pursue there respective course.

OfCourse you can quit any college of any course if you got admission in some high reputed colleges in which you want to. In fact many of the students do this, they  firstly get admitted in the college in which they are getting admission and start studying there and along with that they also give examination of that in which they got failure.
