Many students choose the course over college but you should avoid it. Talking about the scope, mathematical science is a good subject and has more scope than that of polymer science. Well the admission would depend on what you want to study. Which subject you are comforts with will decide your career choice. Since you have already taken admission and also qualified the cut off for DY, decide whether you want to do polymer science at DU or not. If you find it more apt subject to study then you should go for it.
