IIT, Madras takes admission in M.sc through JAM ( Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. ) Entrance exam.

For M.sc Chemistry in IIT, Madras:

Education Qualification:

Bachelors degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years/ six semesters & Mathematics as a subject at (10+2) level

Eligibility Criteria:


At least 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) in the qualifying degree for General and OBC category candidates

At least 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) in the qualifying degree for SC/ST and PwD category candidates
