Yeah you can switch over your college/ Universitie after your First year of B.tech on the following basis

• You should have above 8 CGPA / GPA on both the semester of first year.
• You should not have any arrear  / backlog in any of the semester.
• It depends on the respective branch wise seat of that college where you want to pursue your degree.
• The reason for leaving the college should be appropriate.

If you fullfill all these criteria then you can easily switch over to any College.
