Hi,

According to the brochure of GATE, if you belong to OBC-NCL category, then you are not required to submit/upload any category certificate while filling the online application form.

Hi,You will not be requiring the category certificate before the exams. However, it will be required during the admission process. If you are applying for central institutes, then I would recommend you to apply for an OBC certificate since the state one may not be enough.

Saakshi Lama So for applying iits for mtech can I upload
STATE BC certificate
Because I don't have obc certificate now
But I can apply and can show when/if selected in iit
