Both VIT, Vellore and RVCE, Bangalore are reputated private colleges in India.

Computer science is the most popular course in both college.

To get computer science in first round counselling in
*  VIT   -  Viteee rank below 5500.
* RVCE -  COMEDK rank below 200( General Merit).

As you can see the difference over here . 

So,  my opinion is that you should prefer RVCE over VIT  .

But listen to your self , what do you want.
Don't let others to decide one of the most important decision in your life .
