Hello there,

You can opt for 15% All India quota seats there will not be any issues in that but you will have to pay NRI fees because your primary citizenship is of some other country.

So basically even in government colleges you will have to pay high fees which is around 10 lakhs per year.

Without Indian Citizenship there is no way you will be able to get a free seat in India.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck

I have a doubt....but in case of nbe conducted councelling for DNB course oci holders are considered the same as indian citizens right... So this issue of nri will not apply there for dnb am i right?

I am in same situation. OCI can participate as GN category in AIQ 15%, and SQ 85% in the state where you belongs to, will pay same same as the local student. There is no additional tution fee, just because of OCI status. However, if you participate as NRI category, then you will pay NRI fee which is very high. So, in nutshell, you have both options. With very high NEET score, in GN category, less fees. With low score, in NRI category, high fees. Hope it helps. Good luck!!
