Since you have not mentioned the name of course in which you are seeking admission so it is quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information. But as you have mentioned that you are pass-out from commerce so you might be interested in B.Com (//B.Com) Hons. course offered by colleges of DU.

See if we go through previous year's cut-off then on the basis of analysis of those cut-offs 79% would be quite less for B.Com (//B.Com) Hons. in any of the colleges of DU because the cut-offs are usually quite high even for SC category around 85% or more.
