To calculate bbs of all slabs there are three steps :

1. Calculate number of bars :

Formula :

(Total length - Clear cover)/center to center spacing + 1

2. Cutting length :

Formula :

Main Bar

L + (2*Ld) + (1*0.42D) - (2*1d)

where L= Clear span

Ld= Development length

0.42D = Inclined length

1d=45 degrees .

Length D=(thickness) - 2*(claear cover at TOP , BOTTOM)-Diameter of the bar

Distribution Ba r

Formula :

Clear span + (2*Ld)

Length=(Number of bars * cutting length)

Weight = (D^2/162)
