BBS College of Engineering and Technology, Allahabad was established in the year 2002. It is one of the premier institutions amongst all the affiliated colleges of the University and is located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college, approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, has been offering a wide array of programme/courses in engineering and management streams. On a 27-acre campus, BBSCET provides an atmosphere best suited for academic accomplishments and other professional development processes. BBS College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. BBS College of Engineering and Technology has a number of facilities, which are sure to enhance the learning experience in every way. It is said that the library is the heart of any institution. This one, however, stocks over 5,000 titles and 45,000 volumes, apart from 180 national journals and 552 international e-journals. Different facilities available in this library are reading halls with space for over 300 students, computer management system, and special reading room for researchers and teachers. These include state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, modern classrooms, and well-manned laboratories at the campus level. BBSCET offers excellent sports facilities for holistic development in outdoor games of cricket, football, and volleyball, and indoors in table tennis and chess. This college also provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with comfortable accommodation along with an attached bathroom.

The college offers a total of 10 courses. The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes constitute the wide spectrum of BBSCET. The BBSCET presently is offering six B.Tech programmes, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering; two M.Tech programme in Advanced Computer Aided Design; MCA and one MBA. The total sanctioned intake for all these programmes together is 429, and the highest amongst them is for the B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering.

Admission to BBSCET is done essentially based on performance in JEE Main. This is valid in case of B.Tech and MBA. The college accepts B.Pharma as one of the entrance examinations at the time of admissions.
