The majority of Tech Metallurgical Engineering courses are based on results from state- and national-level entrance exams, including as JEE Main, WBJEE, and MH CET. Additionally, a few reputable institutions and universities hold their own entrance tests. Candidates who pass the admission exam must go through the counselling process.
