How difficult is for a student from biology background to study mathematics at iiser?

Dear aspirant!
See you need to have studied mathematics in 10+2 . Since this is the basic mathematics required for the further educational degree. If maths is just one of the other subjects in any degree then I think you would be able to manage it.

Hello aspirant,
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions. Candidates will be admitted toIISERonly through following three channels. These channels will be referred to as KVPY, JEE, and SCB, respectively.
For a biology student mathematics can be tough or maybe very tough.
This level of toughness depends upon the student's ability.
Remember you have physics.
You have solved numericals in chemistry.
