Hands down DTU is better than most of the NITs,but  top 3 NITS which are NIT Trichy, NIT Rourkela, NIT Surathkal can be considered on same or has little above DTU.But NIT Trichy is better than DTU based on rankings.
The average salary package in DTU is 6 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum while in NIT, it is 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs.
DTU being in capital Delhi can help you to fetch good placement so i would say you should go for DTU.
