See IITs takes admission for their B.Tech course on the basis of score of JEE-Advance not JEE-Mains but yes one need to qualify JEE-Mains to sit for JEE-Advance and the expected qualifying cut-offs for JEE-Main 2021 are described below :-

• Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
• GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
• Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
• Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
• PwD - 1-2 Percentile

Now coming to the rank needed to get into IIT Delhi with Mechanical Engineering(ME) branch, so as we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for Open(General) category was 1464 for ME branch in IIT Delhi. See it is quite difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 1450 then there are good chances for you to get ME branch in IIT Delhi.
