UPSEE is an entrance examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University for admission to UG and PG level courses at all UPSEE colleges. Basically, this is the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination.

Whereas IITs are public institutions that are located all across the country and you need to appear for JEE to qualify to their undergraduate courses and GATE for their post-graduation courses.
