ignou has entrance test for admission in phd program. the basic eligibility criteria is you need to complete your master courses in relevant discipline from recognized university, the candidates must have secured 55% marks in post graduate courses, there is 5% marks relaxation for reserve category candidates. if any candidates has completed m.phil with course work or cleared NET or anu other equivalent exam will be exempted from ignou entrance test.
