I am sorry to say that 50 is not a very good score out of 200 , but still it is a considerable one.And considering Jalpaiguri Government engineering college,Jalpaiguri they consider candidates with 3k-8k ranks in WBJEE for CSE,4-7k for EEE and 3k-5k for ECE, so I think if your rank is between 7k-8k you will be able to get a seat for IT branch very easily.

So you dont have to worry , even if they deny you the chance in your counselling you can enroll using the management quota or there are even better colleges that will allot you a seat for IT branch definetly.
