Yes, apparently, you heard it right. There's a huge chance that the cutoff this year would be taking a jump mainly owing to 2 decissive factors :

1. Easier level of Paper.
2. Drastic increase in the number of Examinees from that in 2018.

As far as Osmania University is concerned, the cutoff for the MBBS seat for the UR category was as follows :

AIQ cutoff : 581 marks.
State Quota cutoff : 570 marks.

If we analyse carefully, if you apply through AIQ, your chances of securing a seat in this college is a bit bleak.
Whereas on the other hand, applying through State Quota has a better chance of procuring seat as we hope that the cutoff won't increase in that huge a level.
But I do think that, being in State Quota, you are on the safe side.

According to the marks you are expecting you have decent chances of getting into the college you are expecting. 600 is no less mark even if the cut off is increased in AIQ you may still have better chances through the state quota. However it also depends if you belong to the reserved categories. Because reserved categories have better chances than general category.
