Considering that you have got 96 percentile in jee mains paper 1. In any decent nit atleast in top 20 you won't able to grab a seat in computer science branch. For computer science a percentile of 99 is needed to get into a good nit.

If you home state is one of these like.mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar then you can get computer science here but I would suggest you to not to get into these nits as the placements here are not good as of a standard nit is considered.
