Hi aspirant

Definitely you have chances that you might get it.

As the counselling i.eJOSSA is not yet started .You should wait till the result of JEE Advance.

JOSSA is centralised counselling for IITs and NITs/IIITs/GFTIs

I got NIT jalandhar through gate for mtech. I was talking about ccmt counseling.

No issues at all.
Definitely you can get .
It happens with most of the students they might not get their choice college in the first counseling.
If you are not happy with .you can wait for the next round.
