Domicile certificate is a nationality certificate it it is compulsory for admission process if you have not domicile certificate you can't get admission because in Maharashtra domicile certificate is important document it also needed to engineering cap round before admission without domicile certificate you will not fill your cap round. except some college allowed without domicile certificate but it is compulsory to submit domicile after 2 month if you are unable to submit your domicile certificate to college within 2 month college cancel your admission. so domicile certificate is must needed.

If you have completed your 10+2 from Maharashtra then you don't have to worry about carrying your domicile certificate in the counseling but if you happen to complete your 10+2 from a different state then you should be sure to carry it during the counseling.
You can apply in MHT CET counseling through both your JEE Main and CET rank.
