You can apply a year later, there is no disadvantage for gap year students for DU Admissions, they are treated as regular students. However, there are certain documents that you will require:

1. An affidavit of gap year stating that you were not involved in any criminal activities

2. Character Certificate not older than 6 months from your institution last attended.
