If I consider you that your home state is West Bengal then also you won't able to get a seat in NIT Durgapur. As per last year, the closing rank student who got rank up to 8934 got admission here so you don't have a chance to get admission in NIT Durgapur. But never lose hope keep on trying.

I am considering that your homestate is west bengal. If you can wait till spot round then you can get seat in nit durgapur that to a good branch if i consider the previous year's statistics. However there is no scope till 7th round.

I would suggest you to keep an alternate option aswell.
