Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your VITEEE exam with flying colours. When it comes to CS branch, it's really tough to get it as it has high demand these days. The cut-off trends keep changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 12,000, you cannot secure a CS seat in Vellore campus in 1st category as the cutoff was 7000 in the year 2016. You can try applying for other categories in Vellore campus but its not certain that you would get it. Whereas, you can easily secure a CSE, ECE or IT seat in their Chennai campus in first category itself.
