i have got 80001 rank in VITEEE and vellore campus has called me for counselling. Can i get CS in vit vellore,chennai or AP?

Hello Vinayak,

It will be difficult for you to get CSE as it is one of the core subject. The cutoffs of CSE are very high in all the campus. In VELLORE or is around 6000 and in CHENNAI it is around 10000.

If you want CSE I would suggest you to look for other colleges.

Hearty congratulations for your feat. If VIT has called you for a counselling(they do for top 1 lak ranks), i am very much sure that there wont be seats for computer science engineering in either of vellore campus or chennai campus(which i am not ruling out). My friend secured 62592 rank and he was astonished that seats for Mechanical,Computer science and EEE are filled. Maybe you can get a seat in Amaravati campus or in chennai or vellore if someone drops out(ie change college if they get NIT or IIT)
