Hello Aspirant,

In case you have not been assigned a seat in the first round of KCET counselling and have joined another college but are now thinking of leaving that college, you should still be able to participate in the next round of KCET. You will not have to do anything to withdraw from KCET counselling, and can also wait for the next round(whenever that is). However, to leave the college you have joined, however, you will need to follow that college's withdrawal procedure (which will generally be that you have to submit a formal application, and pay a fee, if any). Make sure you go through that college's refund policy before you withdraw.

I am a student who has applied for kcet counselling. I have already entered my choice of colleges and courses for the option entry. But, now I wish to take a drop and appear for the KCET exam next year once again. Which one among the 4 choices should I choose? Should I choose option 4? As it is given in the manual, it is said that choosing option 4 would mean that the candidate has joined other college. But, since I wish to take drop, I am not joining any college this year.
