With an AIR of 15,000 in NEET PG 2025, BC-D category, your chances of getting Pediatrics or OBGY in Andhra Pradesh government colleges are very low. Previous year cutoffs for these specialties were usually under AIR 7,000–9,000 for BC categories. You may have better chances in private or semi-government colleges. Consider opting for other specialties with lower cutoffs if you aim for a government seat. DNB programs in private hospitals are another alternative. Always check official state counseling trends before deciding.

Hey! Based on your rank (AIR 70201, OBC-NCL 33849), getting a seat in GACH Patna through state counseling may be a bit tough but not impossible. The chances depend on the cut-off trends of previous years, category-wise seat availability, and number of candidates appearing in Bihar state counseling. Generally, government colleges in Patna have higher closing ranks because of demand, so OBC-NCL seats may also fill up quickly. Still, you should definitely apply and keep Patna as a preference, but also include other government and private colleges in Bihar for safer options. Sometimes seats remain vacant after the first rounds, and cut-offs go down in later rounds, which can improve your chances. I would suggest that you participate in all rounds of counseling, keep your documents ready, and don’t limit yourself to a single college choice. With a bit of flexibility, you will secure a good seat.

Hello,

With an AIR of 15,000 in NEET PG 2025 , there could be a possibility of getting a seat in either Pediatrics or OBGY in government colleges in Andhra Pradesh (AU Region), but it depends on the previous year’s cutoffs, which can vary .

For the BC-D category, based on previous year trends:

  • Pediatrics : Generally, the cutoff for government colleges in Andhra Pradesh for BC-D category students has ranged between AIR 10,000-16,000, so you may have a chance for this branch in some government colleges, depending on the exact cutoff that year.

  • OBGY : OBGY cutoffs tend to be higher, often ranging from AIR 8,000 to 14,000 for BC-D category. There might be a slim chance for OBGY, but it depends on the specific college and the year's counselling.

It’s important to keep an eye on the official counselling rounds and waitlist movements.

Hope it helps !
