If we see into the admission selection process and eligibility criteria for both the colleges, they are almost same. There may be difference in the rounds conducted internally but the entry level criteria is the same. That goes as following:

* The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects from any of the Universities recognized by the AIU/UGC or AICTE or Govt. of India.

* All candidates are required to take the CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT

Thats it if you fulfill the above two conditions then thats it you can apply for both of the institutes. As far as your question is concerned you can check whether the exam you appeared is one of the above or not. They really donot much care about the score because all the things they need will be checked in the internal selection process. So, no need of any doubt you can just apply.
