As you know BITS annually conducts BITSAT for which almost or over 2 lakh candidates appear every year. It has a highly competitive entrance test, but it allows you to enter one of the most prestigious universities in India.

BITS pilani has approximately 2000 seats which is including all the campuses the offers two types of degrees-B.E and Msc which is Dual degree.

The dual degree offered by BITS varies from other universities like the IITs or other colleges. Here the students who have Msc courses in the first year are given their B.E. Degrees at the end of first year on the basis of CGPA .

Students with dual degree complete and get 2 degrees by the end of their college term. 

The students who have dual degrees need to work extra hard to gain the required CGPA percentage. 

I would like to advise you here that it will not be an extremely hard task if you attend the classes daily, as the attendance is not compulsory and follow the courses diligently.

Placements : The college provides good placements as per the student reviews in IT and non-tech sector. Also in the core the placements can be considered better than many other colleges.The college also provides additional opportunities that may help you increase your skills.The average salary package offered is approximately 13 Lakh Per Annum.

Faculty: The faculty is quite experienced and make you well versed with the courses you apply for.

Overall Judgement of Maths Dual Degree course: You will have completed two degrees by the end of 5 years. You might also have better chances at placements than what is offered by other private engineering colleges.
