Classrooms, labs and the main academic building is well taken care of. Hostels are subpar and can use renovation, but livable. Sports facilities are also very good. WiFi in hostel lags a lot, could use an upgrade.
Personally studying computer science, quality of teaching is average although the faculty is passionate about the subject they teach, Better for engaging in one-on-one interactions. Curriculum seems updated beingone of the top universities of India.
Placements have been good, data can be found all over the net. We have the Placement Unit at campus that helps students out. We also have mandatory internship of one semester that enables opportunities of pre-placement offers.
My specific course costs around 5 lakh per semester as it is a 2+2 course and allows me to pursue 2 degrees, one in India and another in France. Money is worth except the included costs of 22 thousand which hasn't ever been sufficient.
Best campus life possible, its lively and activities are available to do all year round. Its not only about academics but a holistic experience.
The infrastructure is really great in the college. All the buildings are really well maintained and clean. The lecture halls are very large and spacious with all the modern facilities. Hostels are also very clean.
The academic courses are designed really well and are completely relevant . Almost all courses have lab components which provide practical application of all the concepts learnt in class. Exams also are conducted smoothly.
The overall quality of placements is very great . It and electronics departments have average packages above 20 lpa. The practice school system provides early exposure which helps in getting placed later.
BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus has a very decent value for money. The course costs around 7 lakh per year and I feel it is worth it unless your getting a very good government college. In spite of being a bit expensive it is worth it.
Campus Life is really very great here. From jamming sessions to sports meets . The club culture is very active and all the fests are really very great. The eateries and food spots on campus are very nice . The location being goa is very nice . And the security of the campus is very high.
The campus serves one of the best experience to eyes. The infra fulfills all the basic amenities like the air conditioning ,wifi etc.so overall the infra is up to date for the comfort of students and all the staffs.
The academics is top notch without any doubts also because the professors do their job well in giving out the best and updated knowledge to the students making the students prepared to fight the world better.
Also because the academics holds the student in their right minds ,every year the students grab the best placement opportunities as well making it the right place for assured placements as the students become skilled and independent.
The college was nice infrastructure is Absolutely Amazing & Mind Blowing. Our college have Comfortable Seats So We Can Focus More On The Studies & Don't Get Bored In Classes. Also, college provides labs, library and a large playground.
Maximum faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The assistant professors help us get good knowledge in our free time. The curriculum is designed by the management, and it is very helpful to students. Exams are not much difficult, and the pass percentage is 65%.
The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA, the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were L&T, MEIL, and My Home. Only 20% of students got internships in NHAI companies.
Yes college is value for money.
Campus Life is good.
Nothing
Has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment… living spaces ate clean and the food is hygienic…… every classroom is equipped with wifi and a smart board …everything is well maintained.
The curriculum is meticulously designed to encompass the latest developments in the field, ensuring the students are equipped with cutting edge knowledge and skills. Each course is drafted by input from industry experts and faculty members.
The quality of placements has been consistently excellent. A significant percentage of students typically secure placements each year across various disciplines, reflecting the strong demand for graduates from this institution.
Yes I believe I am receiving my money’s worth at BITS Pilani, Goa campus. The institution’s commitment to quality education, robust infrastructure, strong placement opportunities, and supportive community ensures that I am well prepared academically and professionally.
At this institution the students are known for their academic excellence, diversity, and active participation in extracurricular activities. The faculty members are experienced, knowledgeable and supporting.
The infrastructure is new and awesome. The auditorium, classroom, lecture halls and seminal halls are maintained and are quite spacious. Also the hostels are white -washed after every year. Also the campus is filled with greenery which gives a fresh vibe to the campus.
The professors are very good, qualified and very friendly. They have their own chambers and specific chamber hours where you can get your doubts cleared personally from them. And in the first year you are assigned a mentor who can guide you for any campus related thing.
All the companies visiting Bits pilani main campus also visit bits goa and bits Hyderabad as well . And these companies include the top globally leading companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, etc.
The fees is a bit high , because after all it's a private college but it is definitely worth it because of the exposure and guidance you get in this college . And if you're consistent and hard working then you'll definitely get a good ROI
In our campus we do not have curfew time in our hostel so you get a lot of freedom and it's fun to hang out with friends during late night also. We have night canteens which are open till 3am so you won't face much problems with night cravings. Also we have 3 fests and they have special nights where we invite top artists to perform and apart from that we have fun activities also during the fests. Also our campus has a wide range of clubs and departments.
Infrastructure Is Very Cool.Specially, The D Spine Which Is A Perfect Spot For Photography Enthusiasts.Classrooms Are Very Good Specially The New Ones Which Have Charging Ports For Each Seat Catefully Designed For Classes Involving Laptop And Tablets.
Grading Is A Little Bad As Compared To Other Campuses. Also, Some Professors Are Very Good But At The Same Time Some Profs Are A Bit Lazy. So,You Need To Attend All The Classes And Labs Even If You Came Here After Listening The Zero Percent Attendance Policy. That's Balanced By Profs As They Include 5-10% Marks Just For Coming To Classes.
Placements Are Very Good As Its A Tier One College And All The Big Companies Like Google, Microsoft,Sandisk,Flipkart,Uber Come For Hiring. But As Its A Tier One College And Other Domains Like Finance, Product Management Are Quite Popular ,Finance Companies Like JPMC Also Hire Students From Our College.
The Only Drawback Due To Which BITs Is Criticized Is The High Fee Structure. For 23-24,Batch Single Degree Students The Fees Will Be Nearly 28 Lakhs Which Is Very High.Although Scholarships Are There,But Fees Is Way Too Much.
Goa.Goa.Goa.. The Best Thing About Tier One Colleges Is The Campus Life.Active Clubs And Departments For All Cultural Activities, Crazy Fests,Beaches At A Distance Of Few Kms,Good Weather Make This Campus One Of The Best Memories Of You Life.
The college boasts first-rate infrastructure and facilities, along with a large selection of equipment. You have access to everything. Everything related to the video games I used to play indoors is good. Food tastes good but is messy.
We have nice classrooms here, but there are a little bit more students than usual, so it can occasionally feel crowded. Teachers are good; they conduct themselves in class. They are available to us whenever we need assistance.
The placements are mediocre. The thing is that if you study well and have the confidence to face the tasks, you can easily get a placement. Nothing comes to worthless people, so study well; placements are good for deserving students.
Best college
The institute has huge and beautiful campus spreading across 300+ acres with all the necessary facilities. The laboratories are well equipped, classrooms are well furnished with projectors and ACs, canteens serve good quality food, there are sport courts and resources for extra curricular activities.
