ugc net   exam score is evaluated for  lecturer post in college or university and for research fellowship program, you may join as a junior research fellow or as a lecturer after clearing ugc net exam. however if you want to become a teacher at school you need to appear in recruitment test conducts by the state government or relevant authority.
