Hello,

You cannot take admission in both IISc (BS-MS Research) and AMU/JMI (BA course) at the same time. All these programmes are full-time regular courses, and as per UGC rules, a student is not allowed to pursue two full-time degrees simultaneously from recognized universities.

If you qualify for IISc through IAT, that admission will require full academic commitment, including labs, research work, and mandatory attendance. Similarly, BA at AMU or JMI is also a regular programme with attendance requirements. During admission and later verification, universities may ask for original documents, and holding seats in two institutions can lead to cancellation of admission in one or both.

You will need to choose one option based on your long-term goals. If you are inclined towards research, science, and higher studies, IISc is the better choice. If your interest is in arts, humanities, or civil services preparation, then BA from AMU or JMI may suit you better.

Take a careful decision and formally withdraw from the other option once you finalize your choice.

If you qualify IAT and become eligible for admission to IISc for the BS MS Research programme and at the same time qualify CUET for admission to AMU or JMI for BA courses you cannot take admission in both universities together. According to UGC guidelines a student is allowed to pursue only one full time regular degree course at a time. Since the BS MS course at IISc and BA courses at AMU or JMI are all full time on campus programmes dual admission is not allowed.

You may attend counselling for both options if the schedules permit and keep track of the admission process. However at the final stage you must choose only one university and one course. If you do not complete reporting or withdraw from one institute the admission will be cancelled automatically.

If your long term goal is research science and higher studies the BS MS Research programme at IISc is generally a better choice. If you are more interested in humanities social sciences civil services or related fields then a BA course from AMU or JMI may be more suitable.
