IGNOU vs UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University? Which is better for BA. in Sociology or Political-Science? currently I'm preparing for NEET 2nd atmpt but due to Covid-19 I'm unable to prepare well, and I think it's better to get a degree rather wasting a year which will help me in my Plan-B that is PCS

Hello Aspirant,

It is very good thing to have plan B as a back-up plan so if you are seeking admission in BA in Sociology then it is recommended that you go with IGNOU as it is an university under the direct control of central government which and also it is very well known and trusted university, it is not the thing that UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University is somewhat bad but when we compare both of them then definitely IGNOU will win the comparison. IGNOU offers large number of UG and PG programs in distance mode so that one can complete their studies from the comfort of their home and can also get the recognized degree.
