I believe IIT Delhi Mechanical Engineering will provide you better exposure having excellent Infrastructure, Faculty and Research Facilities, Placements and Outlook. You will land yourself in a sea of opportunities once in IIT. It will hence be your responsibility to cultivate your interests and nurture them to expertise. As far as IT/Software/Finance prospects are concerned, opportunities in them perhaps bloom at IITD Campus, during placement season and you can always find a way to pursue your interests once you master them.
