Yes from this year IPU is taking admission through JEE Mains.Therefore it is necessary to pay that fees of 1000 rs

YES,From this year IPU will be taking admission through JEE, MAIN only except for BIOTECHNOLOGY you will need to appear for IPUCET,  even through jee main you will need to apply to ipu university by filling application form and for filling ip university application form , so as to get admission into their btech programmes you are required to pay the application fee(1000 inr)

Yash ,since ipu has started giving admission based upon jee main  from this year itself nothing can be predicted ,depends upon how many students are raking part in ipu admission process,how much has the student ranked 1 in merit list of ipu scored etc
