Hello  aspirant,

I gave NEET 2017 and scored 514. I have friends from other states (UP and Delhi) who have scored way more than me but they haven't been able to secure a seat in their states due to immense competition and high cutoff.

But luckily, due to 85% reservation, I made it. I know, on the basis of knowledge , it seems unfair that people with lower marks are getting colleges, but that's what NEET gives you.

In 2013, when NEET was introduced for the first time there was no 85% reservation for domicile students. So there was a huge uproar in many states regarding this.

Thank you

I hope you understand..

Hey there buddy, i am sorry that you feel this way and you may be right,, but this is how the framework works am  even you must be having reservations in your own state, state quota is allotted because it just acknowledges the residents and natives of the state who having been paying taxes and working hard there. and yes you have a point as well, even if you dont have a state quota, the thing you can do is work smart and score well, cheers
