Civil Engineering is a Good Course and is in highly demand now a days.
But it's better that you select course on your own choice. Because if you took admission and didn't perform well then it will affect your job placement after 4 years.
One more thing getting admission in NIT or in any IIT doesn't mean that you are job secured, but you will need to perform very well to get a good package.
