I believe Chemical Engineering at JNTU or Osmania has a wider scope and career prospects than Food Process Technology at Osmania. If possible change your preference in order to get the former branch.

Companies like LG chem, Piramal, Dr Reddys, IOCL are regular recruiters at JNTU Chemical. On the other hand Osmania University has a brilliant culture of students preparing for GATE/CAT/UPSC and other competitive exams and pursuing careers in their respective interest domains.
