Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University headquarters is in Churchgate Campus, Mumbai. SNDT Women's University has 39 departments, 13 institutions and 166 affiliated colleges. The university is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with a grade of ‘A’  and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Eligibility criteria for admission :

• A candidate passing the Graduation in any stream conducted by any recognized University, Institution or Board, with minimum 45% marks as prescribed by Bar Council of India.
• The above requirement as to percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to Schedule Castes & Schedule Tribes or Any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai or any other recognized university with the minimum prescribed marks of 45% as laid down by Bar Council of India is eligible for admission to the first year of the course.
