it is shown in career360 that the cut off rank for Manipal Institute of Technology is UPTo 30 k and while seeking the online public and while surfing on sites like Quora it is showing that the yearly intake of Manipal is 3K. what is the difference between nearly intake and cut off ranks.

Hello Aspirant,

The terms which you discussed in your query are tow different terms so let me make you clear about both the terms. Yearly Intake of any Institute means that particular Institute will take this much students in a year but the cut-off rank is that rank upto which admission are taken.

So if we talk about Manipal Institute of Technology, you are write that it has yearly intake of only 3K and the cut-off rank goes upto 30,000.
