Lateral entry into B.Tech colleges involves getting admission in the second year of B.Tech degree in the related stream of engineering. To be eligible for a B. Tech lateral entry engineering/admission, a diploma is required after class 10th examination. There is also a state-level examination for this course called the Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET).
