Birla Institute of Technology, Patna
Yes there is provision of distribution of seats for various categories in admission process. It is done according to the government provisions. Even if no one takes admission in the alloted seats for a particular category. The college authorities can't convert the seats in any case.
If you haveno other choice avaliabe then only go for BIT Patna as it isnt a good college, the faculty isnt good at all and the infrastructure is very poor. The faculty wont be teaching you anything over there and the placements are done from BIT Mersa overall the condition is very poor of this college.
There may be some transformation going on but I dont think it is worth it.
Hope it helps.
The BIT PATNA is a good and known college. The college is a private college which was established in the year 2006.The college is approved by AICTE.The college has good infrastructure, campus environment, facilities for students.
Now if we compare ece and it branch in this college than it will be always be a better choice to choose IT keeping placements and packages in mind.It has better placement and package.
but it also depends on interest, if you are interested in ICs and Kits then you should go for ece and if you are interested in software development than go for IT.
Both ECE and IT has their own importance but ece has more demand than IT.BITS Patna has more importance and is also good in ece so you can opt for ece if ece seat is not alloted then IT can be chose, anyway both of them have career that they won't fall anyway.
First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve such a good college and I would like to tell you that if you are interested in computer science engineering then information technology is very similar to it and you can get placements like a computer science Aspirant but if you are not interested there then ECE is not bad. As a college bit is with in top 5 colleges in Bihar.
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Birla Institute of Technology, Patna offers better placements for ECE and CSE students.
CSE, ECE branches get almost 100% placement, though the average package ranges from 3.5 to 4 LPA. Also, EEE branch students get up to 70% placements. The companies like Havells, Philips, Mu Sigma, Wipro Infosys, TCS, etc., visit the campus for the placements. Last year, the highest package was 14.5 LPA, which was bagged by a CSE student. They have a placement cell, which is average. Around, 20% of the students got the internship from the college. Overall, it is better than average for these branches.
Hope this helps.
Hello Rahul ,
Yes , BIT , Patna is a good reputated institute. The faculty of College are very helpful , qualified and kind towards the students. College campus is not too much big but it's not a big deal. Placements are very good according to previous year records. Most of the students from each branch got placed in many reputated companies. Average package is 6 lakhs per annum and highest package is 15-18 lakhs per annum.
Hope it helps!!!
As your query is you want to know that which course is best in BIT Patna to take admission from ECE or IT.
based on the details that I have fetched from the BIT Patna I want to tell you that going with IT as the better option because they have better placement values and more career opportunities. And the colleges better known for the results and placements in IT therefore it's better to go with the stream of IT.
Hii aspirant ,
Coming to your question I would like to tell you that the choice of engineering branch must be clearly depends on your area of interest that is whether your area of interest is in the IT or Cse because that you are going to study for the whole 4 years , coming to the placement the placements of the bit mesra and all its extension centres are done together only so you will get an equal opportunity for the placements only your skills are required to grab a good package not the college ,
So choose the branch by seeing your interest rather than placements ,
Hope this helps you ,
