Your marks doesn't determine your rank as they are prepared considering lots of factors. if you have rank below 1k then for sure you can go for CSE or IT branch else you can go for core branches or non-technical branches.

you must be having your rank by now. If you can say it i can help you out to know which branch you can get as per your  rank and categroical reservation.
