Hello Hanisha, Greetings!
Thapar University is a private and autonomous engineering college.
Faculty at Thapar is I would say overall good but still exceptions are always there. Some departments like electrical and electronics have not so good faculty whereas CS and mechanical has very good faculty.Also most of the teachers are interested in teaching.

Considering your rank,i.e 3k and your General AF rank i.e 75 and the previous year cutoffs and trends,
You might have some chances of getting an MBA seat in government college and high chances of getting into a private institute.
