it is not possible to get JU with this rank . Closing rank for all the branches are within 1800
For architecture the closing rank is about 6k.
But you can get other colleges.

Raj, I wanted to add that different branches have different cut-offs, and Electrical branch is a very in-demand course hence the cut-off is very high. I wanted to write all this and more, but by mistake the incomplete answer got posted, and I couldn't even edit that. Sorry for the inconvenience. It's difficult for you to get Electrical, but otherwise in Jadavpur university you do have a chance. You must not lose hope and still try, because you never know what might happen. All the best!
