Hello Aspirant, Each Institute have their pros and cons. Both the colleges are approximate equal. If you are talking about SASTRA there is strict rules and regulations which make you a good person. In the NIT you will see so many students are motivated for their study so to see them you also encourage to study but in SASTRA only few are encouraged. 

Second thing NIT have very good name in society
